Dipped bites. A fun recipe for you and the kids!

March break is here and what do our kids want? Yep, snacks! We know how hard it is making up a million snacks a day trying to keep our kiddos entertained and full. We're here to help with not only a delicious recipe that tases great but also, a recipe you can make together (or even older ones on their own!) .

Make it fun!

Make your snak. time fun with minimal help. This recipe is perfect for getting the kiddos involved, which is a great way to practice healthy eating habits with our kids. Cooper, age 5, had adult help getting everything set up and then with supervision, was able to make dipped bites. completely independently.

He had tons of fun making them and in the end, he had a bunch of snaks. for the week and he was so proud of the creations he made!

What you need:

(We only had plain yogurt on hand so we added some maple syrup and vanilla for some sweetness!)

3. sticks

A few great options would be cake pop sticks (paper ones), metal skewers, toothpicks, wooden coffee sticks or you can opt out on the sticks too. If you don’t use any, your fingers will get covered in yogurt but that’s ok, messy is fun!

4. tray/ container

You’ll need to pop your dipped bites in the freezer, so make sure you have something on hand that will fit your bites in the freezer. A cooking tray with/without parchment paper, a plate, etc. just as long as it will fit your dipped bites. comfortably!

5. “sprinkles” (optional)

For added fun, add some “sprinkles” to your dipped bites.!

Options: hemp hearts, crushed nuts or seeds, crushed chocolate chips coco powder, drizzled syrup (chocolate, maple, etc.), we even used a crushed up peanut butter cup. (hint. freeze first it will crush easier!)
